Start a Trophies Manufacturing

Start a Trophies Manufacturing

What is a Trophy?
trophy is a reward for a specific achievement, and serves as recognition or evidence of merit. Trophies are most often awarded for sporting events, from youth sports to professional level athletics. In many sports medals (or, in North America, rings) are often given out either instead of or along with trophies.Originally the word trophy, derived from the Greek tropaion, referred to arms, standards, other property, or human captives and body parts.

Types of Trophies?
Trophies often represent the event they are in, for example in basketball tournaments, the trophy takes shape of a basketball player, or a basketball. Trophies can take the shape of two-handled cups, bowls, or mugs (all usually engraved); statues of people, animals, and architecture while displaying words, numbers or images. While trophies traditionally have been made with metal figures, wood columns, and wood bases, in recent years they have been made with plastic figures and marble bases.
A loving-cup trophy is a common variety of trophy; it is a cup shape, usually on a pedestal, with two or more handles, and is often made from silver or silver plate.
Hunting trophies are reminders of successes from hunting animals, such as an animal's head mounted to be hung on a wall.
Resin trophies come in a variety of sports or generic forms. These resin awards are often used for participation awards and can be custom made to include an event logo. These can be custom molded to create a unique trophy for businesses, youth sports organizations, and non profits alike.
Perpetual trophies are held by the winner until the next event, when the winner must compete again in order to keep the trophy. In some competitions winners in three consecutive or non-consecutive events receive the trophy or its copy in permanent ownership.

How to Start Trophies Business
An unbeatable interest to recognise grand success of individuals or group showcased through custom trophies is momentous coronation. Arrangements are made to appreciate excellent performances of sports teams, corporations, individuals and organizations through trophies and awards.New entrants in custom trophies business must keep their eyes open to understand the needs of prospective buyers. Business must focus upon servicing personalized customers. It is therefore important to offer quality produce. Have your storefront in local area where target consumers are available.

Online Trophies shop At Home

For decades, trophy shops have been staples of local small business communities. But given the dramatic changes in business and technology that have occurred in recent years, are trophy shops still potentially profitable small business venturesIn the past, trophy shop products were limited to plaques, medals and personalized figurine trophies. Today, laser engraving has transformed the industry, making it possible to efficiently customize materials like crystal, marble, glass, wood and composites.Another technological development that has taken the awards industry by storm is online marketing. Aggressive and profitable trophy shops now have the ability to take customer orders online, allowing them to expand their reach and serve awards customers outside of their immediate vicinity. In our experience, many startup trophy shops minimize the importance of launching with a functional e-commerce website already in place. But we think that's a big mistake -- an image-rich business website with an easy-to-use online ordering system is a strategic advantage you can use to differentiate your startup and capture market share right out of the gate.

 Business overview of Trophies Business

Each year in North America millions of trophies are given to winning sports teams, game MVPs, and to people being recognized for outstanding achievement. The demand for trophies is not only proven, it also continues to increase every year as the population of people and popularity of sports continues to grow. A trophy supply and engraving business can be started for less than $5,000, and purchasing trophies on a wholesale basis should not prove to be difficult as there are thousands of trophy manufacturers worldwide. Furthermore, the equipment needed for engraving name plaques for the trophies is inexpensive and available at most building centers in every community. Profit potential range is $10,000+ per year.

Start a Window Shutters & Blinds Manufacturing

Start a Window Shutters & Blinds Manufacturing

What is a window shutters & Blinds?
window shutter is a solid and stable window covering usually consisting of a frame of vertical stiles and horizontal rails (top, centre and bottom). Set within this frame can be louvers  solid panels, fabric, glass and most any other item that can be mounted within a frame. Shutters may be employed for a variety of reasons, including controlling the amount of sunlight that enters a room, to provide privacy, security, to protect against weather or unwanted intrusion or damage and to enhance the aesthetics of a building.window blind is a type of window covering. There are many different kinds of window blinds which use a variety of control systems. A typical window blind is made up of several long horizontal or vertical slats of various types of fabric, wood, plastic or metal which are held together by cords that run through the blind slats. Window blinds can be adjusted by rotating them from an open position to a closed position with either a manual or remote control which allows the slats to overlap and block out most of the light. There are also several types of window blinds that use a single piece of material instead of slats.A window blind is also known as a window shade.

Different types of window shutters & Blinds:-

Persian or slat:-The most common window blinds are slat blinds, which consist of many horizontal slats, usually of metal or vinyl, connected with string such that they can be rotated to allow light to pass between the slats, rotated up to about 170 degrees to hide the light, or pulled up so that the entire window is clear.

Venetian:-A Venetian blind (or venetian blind) has horizontal slats, one above another. Venetian blinds are basic slatted blinds made of metal or plastic; wooden slats are sometimes used but in the US these are now usually referred to as wood blinds or bamboo blinds. They are suspended by strips of cloth called tapes, or by cords, by which all slats in unison can be rotated through nearly 180 degrees. The slats can be rotated such that they overlap with one side facing inward and then in the opposite direction such that they overlap with the other side facing inward.

Roman:-Roman shade are a type of window blind used to block out the sun. They are often referred to as Romans or Roman blinds in the UK. When opened, the Romans stack up evenly; when covering the full window height, they are smooth without overlapping.Roman blinds can be purchased with a blackout lining on the back to fully block out sunlight.

Business Overview

Manufacturing interior and exterior wood window shutters is a very simple manufacturing business to establish and run. Best of all, only a small homebased workshop is required for manufacturing space. The demand for wooden window shutters and blinds is enormous, especially with recent news that plastic miniblinds can give off toxic fumes into a home. The demand for exterior wooden window shutters used for home decoration and shutter replacements for heritage home renovations is also very large. The completed shutters can be sold to national home improvement center retailers on a wholesale basis, or the window shutters can be sold directly to homeowners on a custom order and installation basis. The profit margins can be terrific on this type of product, as there is not a lot of competition in the industry that focuses on manufacturing wooden window shutters and blinds exclusively.

Start a Silk Screening Service

Start a Silk Screening Service

What is a Screening Painting?
Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil to receive a desired image. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A fill blade or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink through the mesh openings to wet the substrate during the squeegee stroke. Basically, it is the process of using a mesh-based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate, whether it be t-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or other material.

What is a Silk Screening Painting?
Silk screening is a process which is used to create prints on a wide variety of materials, from fabric to wood. Many commercial printers use silk screening to print, since it is cheap and easy, and when done well, it results in high quality prints. Home crafters and fine artists also use the silk screening technique for projects, and it is relatively easy to learn. People who want to learn how to make high quality screen prints may want to consider taking a class to learn the basics.

What materials used in Silk Screening Printing?
Caviar bead-

A caviar bead is a glue that is printed in the shape of the design, to which small plastic beads are then applied – works well with solid block areas creating an interesting tactile surface.
Cracking ink-
Cracking ink effect is when the ink produces an intentional cracked surface after drying.
Discharge inks-
Discharge ink is used to print lighter colours onto dark background fabrics, they work by removing the dye of the garment – this means they leave a much softer texture. The cons with this process is that they are less graphic in nature than plastisol inks, and exact colours are difficult to control. One of the pros of using this process is they are especially good for distressed prints and under-basing on dark garments that are to be printed with additional layers of plastisol. It adds variety to the design or gives it that natural soft feel.
Expanding ink (puff)-
Expanding ink, or puff, is an additive to plastisol inks which raises the print off the garment, creating a 3D feel and look to the design. Mostly used when printing on apparel.
Flocking-
Flocking consists of a glue printed onto the fabric and then flock material is applied for a velvet touch.
Foil-
Foil is much like flock, but instead of a velvet touch and look it has a reflective/mirror look to it. Although foil is finished with a heat press process it needs the screen printing process in order to add the adhesive glue onto the material for the desired logo or design.

Process of Silk Screening painting?

The silk screen process is one of the most versatile of printing methods. Silk screen printing can be used on fabric, metals, glass and, of course, paper and cardboard. Large commercial screen print operations now use automated equipment, but hobbyists, artists and small shops continue to do silk screening by hand. The stencil is attached to the under side of the screen. The exact procedure depends on the type of stencil used. The material to be printed is placed on the base, and the screen is lowered over it. A generous quantity of ink is put at the top of the pattern, but outside the printing area. The squeegee pulls the ink across the pattern and forces it through the silk onto the material. Most screen printing jobs require more than one color of ink. Each color must thoroughly dry before the next color can be applied. Large screen print operations have a different screen for each color. In a small shop, the same screen is cleaned of the stencil and ink and then reused for the next color.

How to Start Silk Screening at Home

The first thing you need to do is decide on an image you want to print.  I drew up this tree as an example for you.  For your first screen printing subject don’t do anything with very fine lines.  Something like this tree or lettering is perfect. You’ll also need a frame with “silk” on it.  The silk is actually polyester.  You can buy it in craft or art supply stores.  Make sure you’re buying “110″ mesh.To apply your own silk just use a regular staple gun.  Pull it tight, but not so tight the silk rips through the staples.Once your screen is stapled, cut the edges off.Tape the outside and inside of the silk so paint can’t drip through.  I’m using duct tape because that’s what I had in my workshop.  There’s special papery tape you are supposed to use.  Next time I go to the art store I’ll buy it, but the duct tape works fine for now.  After more than a few washings of the screen it’ll unstick though. Now that your screen is ready, it’s time to coat it with Photo Emulsion. In your dark room, run a bead of emulsion across the top of your screen.  Apply the emulsion to the “bottom” of the screen.  The part of the screen that isn’t recessed in the frame. With your squeegee, draw the emulsion down over the entire screen.  Make sure you have a nice even coat, but work quickly.  Immediately put the screen in a dark area to dry.  Set it down horizontally, not vertically.  Depending on how thick you put your emulsion is on, drying will take 1-3 hours.Once your exposure area is set up you can cut out your image, if you chose to go with that technique as opposed to printing onto transparency.  I cut this image out with a swivel head X-acto knife, but if your design is very simple you could use scissors.

What Are the Education Requirements for a Screen Printing Career?

Although a formal education is not actually required in order to start a screen printing career, it can be helpful. A career in an art related field can help aspiring screen printers fine tune their artistic abilities and jump start their careers. Strictly speaking, there is really no specific degree that screen printers should have, but some colleges do offer degree programs in screen printing.A degree in fine art may is a general degree that can help propel almost anyone into an exciting art career.

What is the Average Annual Salary of a Screen Printer?

The average annual salary of a screen printer will vary, depending on his specialty and talent, as well as the demand for his services. The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not have any salary information specifically pertaining to screen printers, but it does have information about related professions.According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, however, printing press operators made an average salary of $35,370 in 2010. Graphic designers, on the other hand, made an average salary of $48,140 in that same year.
Business overview of silk screening painting

In general, aspiring screen printers will usually need to be somewhat artistic. They should have a good sense of color and style.Individuals interested in screen printing careers should also be creative. Many times, screen printers will need to create their own designs, which should be interesting and unique. Some screen printers may choose to work in large factories, such as t-shirt manufacturers. These professionals will usually operate large screen printing presses. Unlike small screen printing operations, however, these larger operations usually allow no room for creative freedom. These professional screen printers are typically required to simply operate a machine that mass produces items printed with existing artwork.Qualified screen printers might also be able to find employment in custom clothing shops, and some may even have the opportunity to open their own screen printing business. Operating a screen printing business is challenging, but it can also be very rewarding, since it gives screen printers complete freedom to express themselves artistically. These types of screen printers are not only limited to printing other people’s designs, for instance. They can also create custom pieces to sell.

What is a Trade Show Display?

trade show display is a graphic display device designed to be used at a trade fair or trade show. These may include table top displays, banner stands, pop up displays, flat panels displays, and other paraphernalia used to fill a temporary stall or booth at a trade fair or convention. The displays vary greatly in size, cost and complexity, but all are designed to visually represent a specific interest of the company. Trade show displays use bold images and catch phrases, in an attempt to attract visitors to their exhibit space, so that sales representatives can give a sales pitch or hand out brochures.

What is a  Online Trade show Display Service?

TradeShowShop.com has one of the largest trade show exhibit and display catalogs on the Web is important. But far more important is our reputation for reliability. Plus, we provide candid advice to fit trade show display products to exactly what you need. We don't push a particular exhibit product line. This provides the exhibitor with a pre defined area in which to present his or her company or organization, to visitors attending the trades show event. In this space, exhibitors set up a wide variety of trade show displays, tailored to their specific need, in order to present their services. Companies often rent exhibit space from show organizers and then, design trade show displays to attract the attention of visitors and attendees at the trade show.

Reason to Exhibit a Trade Show Display Service
The trade show industry serves a staggeringly wide and varied audience. Many industries have their own types of show style. On the enterprise level, there are numerous reasons for exhibitors to deploy a display at a given trade show. On a macro level it can be said that there are only five reasons:
  1. To sell
  2. To launch
  3. To correct a misconception
  4. To create an impression
  5. To get create internal "buy-in" for the initiatives above

Trends Of Trade Show Display Service

For years, the trade show display business was dominated by the notion of selling and owning one's display properties. There are a number of reasons for this including accounting realities and the cultural history of the industry itself. But, in recent years, this has all begun change. At one time, the notion of Rental exhibits would have been a category in the list above; that is to say that at one time a Rental exhibit would have been viewed as a type of exhibit, usually a property owned by an outside vendor (either the show general contractor, or an outside rental exhibit company), which are stock properties that are rented to the exhibitor in a standard configuration, or a modified version thereof. Current thinking in the exhibit industry often treats rental and purchase as alternative financial strategies aimed at accomplishing different ends. These days virtually any trade show display of any type or quality can be rented or purchased.

Trade shows are a multibillion dollar industry in North America. All companies and organizations that display or promote products and services at trade shows each year have one thing in common. They all need to have an exhibit display designed, constructed, or rented in order to display and promote their products and services. And the best way to capitalize on the demand for trade show displays is to simply start a business that manufactures custom one-of-a-kind trade show displays and off-the-shelf, mass-produced, generic trade show displays. This type of manufacturing business is very easy to establish, as the components needed to build trade show displays are readily available from a wide range of manufacturers. Additionally, a homebased workshop is more than sufficient space to construct the displays, at least initially. Profit margins are excellent for this type of product, especially on the custom one-of-a-kind orders, and finding clients should not be difficult, due to the simple fact that there are an estimated 100,000+ trade shows each year in the United States alone.
